Apple TV is reteaming with Careme director Martin Bourbron to produce La Décision, a new French-language thriller starring Raphael Personna (The Richest Woman in the World), Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds) and Louis Farge (Cult).
The seven-episode series also stars Cesar Award winners Sami Bouajira (Ganglands), Marina Hands (Mrs. Chatterley) and Fanny Sidney (Call My Agent!).
In Personas, he plays a French president whose life changes completely when an 8-year-old girl goes missing. “While the nation was shocked by the girl’s disappearance, the tragedy also affected the president personally, as she was an illegitimate child born of a secret affair that his wife and best friend Nora (Kroeger) did not know about. Once the kidnapping became a matter of state, Eli The entire agency intervenes in the search for the girl. Torn between his private life and his public responsibilities, the president is now caught up in a whirlwind of false friendships, unrequited love, and power. This series is based on an original idea by Bourboulon and Tiry. The film is created by Mark Dugain and Corinne Garfin (“Cour Noir”), Ramala Lepretre Habib (“Dans Lombre”) and Xavi Moria (“Les Sentinelles”).
“La Decision” is the latest in Apple TV’s French programming, which also includes the new thriller “The Hunt,” starring Benoît Magimel and Mélanie Laurent, and is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 3. There is also the Japanese-French co-produced drama “Drops of God.” and “Carême,” starring Benjamin Voisin and telling the thrilling story of Antonin Carême, the world’s first famous chef.
