Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Gwyneth Paltrow are scheduled to present trophies at the 98th Academy Awards.
The show’s executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katie Mullan announced the group as the third official presenter to take part in the upcoming ceremony.
Oscar presenters announced so far include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infinity, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña.
Mescal and Infinity were not individually nominated for their roles in “Hamnet” and “One Battle After Another,” respectively, but both films were recognized by the Academy. “Hamnet” received eight nominations and “One Battle After Another” received 13 nominations.
Brody, Culkin, Madison and Saldaña will return to the stage as last year’s acting Oscar winners to honor the new winners, but the Academy has not yet announced in which category they will appear.
Producers will continue to announce talent who will be joining the show over the coming weeks.
This year’s nominations were an all-time high, with director Ryan Coogler’s record-breaking vampire film “Sinners” receiving 16 nominations. Next up is Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, with 13 total nods. Both films are nominated for Best Picture along with Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value and Train Dreams.
The 98th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will be broadcast live on Sunday, March 15th at 7pm ET/4pm PT on ABC and streamed live on Hulu, with the official red carpet show airing at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.
