Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman enjoyed a rare public date night in New York City on Monday night.
The ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ actress and her husband attended the God’s Love We Deliver 2025 Golden Heart Awards and posed for photos together at the star-studded event.
The jewelry designer was seen reaching out to Hathaway as she got out of her car as she arrived at the event at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.
Hathaway, who was honored by the foundation that night, posed solo on the red carpet as Shulman watched from the sidelines.
However, the two later hugged each other for a photo, and Hathaway was seen smiling and gently pressing her face against Shulman’s cheek.
Hathaway, 42, looked chic in a black cape-style blouse and belted black pants. She accessorized with a gold necklace, delicate gold hoop earrings, and pointed-toe heels.
The movie star wore her brown hair down in waves, revealing a bronzed glow.
Schulman, 44, wore a stylish green suede suit with a white button-down shirt. He completed his look with western-style green boots.
Hathaway, who is currently busy filming The Devil Wears Prada 2, rarely attends Hollywood events with her husband. The pair last walked the red carpet at the Bvlgari High Jewelery event in Rome, Italy in May 2024.
The two met in 2008 through a mutual friend and quickly fell in love.
“From the moment I met him, I knew he was the love of my life,” she told Harper’s Bazaar UK in 2013.
However, it took some time for the two to actually start dating.
“We hit it off right away, but it took us quite a while to get along,” Hathaway explained in a 2010 Vogue interview. “He thought I had a boyfriend, and I thought he had a girlfriend. So I didn’t want to be that kind of woman, so I thought it would be best to stay away from him.”
After finally tying the knot, they married in 2012 and have since welcomed two children, sons Jonathan (9 years old) and Jack (5 years old).
