Anna Kendrick is negotiating with Seth Rogen in the contemporary comedy drama Baby on the Los Angeles set.
The film is directed by Lauren Miller Rogen (father like “father”) from her original script.
“Babies” is an ensemble comedy drama about a journey into parent-child relationships… struggling to decide whether to take their children to the world, Annie (Kendrick) and her husband Aaron (Rogen) become instantly co-parents when they move home with their 3-year-old child.
The film is scheduled to begin production in Los Angeles this November.
AGC Studios and Monarch Media will co-win and produce the film alongside Lylas Pictures.

Miller Rogen credits include writing, directing and producing the Netflix original film Like Farding starring Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer, as well as starring and producing Indie Comedy “For a Good Time, Call…”. She is also attached to directing the horror comedy “Be Mine” with MRC’s Project X/Radio Silence and the original film action comedy “Sky Dancer.” Her writing credits include films and television shows such as Netflix, Sony, Lionsgate, Fox, and NBC.
Kendrick’s film credits include “Up in the Air,” “Alice, Darling,” “A Simple Abef,” “The Accountant,” “Pitch Perfect,” and “Trolls” franchises. She is currently in production with Chris Rock’s untitled directorial debut on A24. She appears in the film opposite Adam Driver and Daniel Karuya.
Rogen has starred, directed and produced in the Apple TV+ comedy The Studio, and has earned 23 Emmy nominations. He also co-created, wrote and starred in the animated series Sausage Party: Food Topia on Amazon MGM Studios.
Rogen then won the “Platonic” season 2, premiering on August 6th on Apple TV+, hosting a star on “Lucky” alongside Keanu Reeves and Aziz Ansari, releasing October 17th. Rogen is also producing the final season of “Gen V,” which will premiere on September 17th, and “The Boys,” which is scheduled to be released in 2026.
