Angel Reese made her Victoria’s Secret fashion show debut.
On Wednesday night, Reese made history as the first professional athlete to appear on the show.
The 6-foot-3 WNBA star teased the casting on Instagram last week, writing, “Stepping into a dream…Finally got my wings.”
And what a dream it was!
Reese walked down a long catwalk wearing a lace lingerie set decorated with some pink flowers.
She also carried a voluminous pink tulle shawl decorated with flowers. The silver stiletto heels added another inch to her already statuesque physique, making her the tallest of the angels on earth that night.
The basketball player wore another lace pink lingerie set as she walked down the runway for the second time, but this time she wore a babydoll T-shirt with a cutout that exposed her bra.
Although she has far more experience on the basketball court, she confidently strutted up and down the long pink runway, holding up sparkling angel wings.
In true supermodel fashion, she struck some dynamic poses at the end of the runway before returning.
The WNBA forward was a standout among the modeling industry’s greats. Tonight’s runway was filled with VS icons like Jasmine Tookes and Barbara Palvin, as well as fellow first-timers Iris Law, Amelia Gray Hamlin, and Olympic gymnast Suni Lee.
The day before the show, she expressed her excitement on Amazon Live: “I’m so happy to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel. It feels like a dream come true… I’m super, super excited… I’m filled with joy. Are you nervous? No. Are you ready? Yes, because I know I’ve been working for this moment.”
But this isn’t Reese’s first step into the fashion industry’s spotlight. She made her Met Gala debut in May 2024 wearing a custom look from 16 Arlington. That same month, she appeared in the “Good American” campaign.
She returned to the Met Gala red carpet for the second time in May 2025, wearing Thom Browne for the event’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
We hope that future campaign photos will be great as well. Until then, I’ll be playing Reese’s Angel Walk whenever I need a lift.
