Andy Cohen believes the reunion of “The Valley” Season 2 has inspired his recent physical transformation.
On Friday’s “Today” show, Bravo executives told Shanell Jones and Jenna Bush Hager that they had started taking weight loss pills because they hadn’t seen “(his)” on May Sittdown, which aired in July.
“After that, I was like, ‘I have to put my actions together,'” recalls the “Watch What What Happes Live” host, 57.
“We couldn’t make the suit a button and a button, that was really bad,” Cohen said.
He added that he was in front of the camera, “I’m looking at my own crazy monitor every day,” and “it’s awful.”
In addition to “microdosing the GLP-1,” the winner of Emmy began a “real fitness journey.”
“(I) are much more cautious about what I put in my mouth, how I exercise,” he explained to viewers.
Cohen first opened about his slim down earlier this month on his “Radio Andy” show.
“I was really unhappy with my weight,” he said at the time. “My doctors recommended GLP-1 several times to not only address what I felt about my weight, but also to treat my arteries and hypertensive plaques.”
After the producer “ultimately said yes” to the drug, it “really helped (his) cravings that were more trained with his diet and workout.”
While chatting with listeners later in the same week, Cohen revealed the “highest weight ever” weight he reached (nearly 190 pounds) before “sudden loss (25 pounds) 25 pounds” on Semaglutide.
Six years before its release, Cohen spoke on a “Today” show about dropping 12 pounds by cutting back on alcohol.
“This summer, I had a moment when I felt like my suit was getting tight,” he explained in a 2019 interview.
“It was beach season and I was wearing it like a button down to the beach,” Cohen recalled. “I was like, ‘I’m not this guy, I’m not doing this.’
On Friday, journalists believe his two children (son Benjamin, 6-year-old and daughter Lucy (3) are major motivations for the ongoing health journey.
