Andy Cohen has been openly revealing that he recently lost a “good mass of weight” this summer after starting “microdoshing” with GLP-1 weight loss pills.
“I was really unhappy with my weight. Last year my doctor and I talked about this and recommended GLP-1 several times to treat my arteries and hypertensive plaques as well as addressing what I feel about my weight.”
The star didn’t say which GLP-1 drugs he was taking, but explained, “It’s actually a beneficial drug for many health factors and ultimately said yes.”
A Bravo executive pointed out how using this drug can help to curb his snacking habits.
“I have to say, it really helped my craving,” he continued.
Cohen, 54, has recognised his privilege to take advantage of the opportunity to try drugs through insurance.
“This is an innovative medicine. I’m very happy to be able to go on this journey under the care of a doctor and work with my trainer to do this right. I say my appetite has returned from the micro-dose, but I think it’s been s-tty before me so I restructured my relationship with food.”
The host of Watch What What Hassive Live said he chose to share his weight loss medication use after 20 years of “questing people about physical regimens” on his show, feeling that he would not be completely hypocritical.
Cohen is the latest celebrity on the list of stars who have approved the use of weight loss pills such as Ozempic and Mounjaro.
Several “real housewives” stars, including Dolores Catania, Jennifer Fessler and Heather Gay, have admitted to getting a chance at all Hollywood trends.
Recently, Serena Williams admitted to losing more than 30 pounds using GLP-1 medication RO.
“It feels good,” she told people in July. “I feel really healthy and healthy. I feel physically and mentally light.”
