Andrew Santino’s next stand-up special, “White Noise,” will debut on Hulu on September 12th. The comedian and hosts of the “Bad Friends” and “Whiskey Ginger” podcasts have dropped trailers for the next hour.
In the 45-second clip, Santino takes his father to a football game Monday night, joking about drinking plenty of alcohol. “We’re sitting at the bar, it’s just my dad and me. And he looks over me. I know Dad can use that smile to sparkle his eyes,” Santino says. “I’m waiting for him to say he loves me, and he says, ‘I’m angry right now.’ ”
“White Noise” is Santino’s third stand-up special and the first special special for Hulu, following the 2023 “Cheeseburger” and 2017’s “Homefield Advantage” on Netflix. In addition to his stand-up, Santino is the host of three popular podcasts, “Bad Friends” with Bobby Lee, “Whiskey Ginger” and his new golf interview show, “No Bad Lies.”
He is also the actor best known for his role in the FX comedy Dave, playing Lil Dicky’s manager, and with John Cena and Zac Efron, he played “Ricky Stannicki.” Santino’s credits include Netflix’s “Beef” and Showtime’s “I’m Dying Up Here,” as well as “Disaster Artist,” “Scramble,” “My Time,” “Sincity Saints,” “Mixology,” and “Us.” He also won guest spots on his beloved sitcoms, including “Office,” “Arrested Development,” “League,” and “Suppress Your Enthusiasm.”
“White Noise” is part of Hulu’s comedy initiative, Hulalious, and features specials from Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Jim Gaffigan, Roy Wood Jr. and Chris Distefano.
