She feels “snatched”.
Amy Schumer is feeling confident about the recent changes in her body thanks to GLP-1 weight loss drugs, and she proves it with an at-home photoshoot.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the “I Feel Pretty” actress modeled two dresses that accentuated her slimmer figure.
“I feel strong and coming into my own,” Schumer, 44, captioned the post, along with a photo taken by makeup artist Gita Bass. “I enjoy the way I look, but at the end of the day it’s all about how you feel.”
The look featured a chic black and white Maison Valentino dress with a plunging neckline and a stunning baby pink silk dress tied at the shoulders.
The comedian, who shares 6-year-old son Gene with husband Chris Fischer, continued in the caption: “I got dressed up and ready to go to my friend’s 50 year old house and I just didn’t feel like it so I decided I wanted to stay home with my little boy.”
“Thank you for all the love. I’ll send it back soon.”
In her caption, the comedian praised trainer Mona Tsutsui for helping her “strengthen up” after undergoing back surgery in August to deal with chronic pain.
Loved ones and fans flooded the comments section with praise.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Lisa Rinna dropped three fire emojis, and Katy Perry commented with a string of hearts.
One fan wrote: “I thought this was a train wreck flashback.” “So happy to hear you feel as great as you look!! That’s what matters.”
A second follower chimed in: “Hot mama. Looking amazing.”
A third wrote: “You look amazing. I’m so glad you’re feeling better.”
Schumer has spoken candidly about her years of using weight loss drugs.
Earlier this year, she admitted that she tried Ozempic “almost three years ago”, but it was a “horrible experience” that made her feel sick.
“I almost threw up, and I had no energy. But the others accepted it, and they all got better. God bless them,” she said on “The Howard Stern Show.”
Schumer eventually switched to Munjaro and lost 35 pounds with no side effects.
“My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy. I want to be more ‘down’, if you know what I mean. I’m talking about sex. So, yeah, it was great. Munjaro was great,” she explained on Instagram in March.
Schumer also previously admitted that she underwent liposuction to help achieve her weight loss goals.
The comedian has enjoyed showing off her lean figure in recent months, including stepping out in a short red dress in New York earlier this week and posing in a swimsuit over the summer.
Just last week, Schumer flaunted her toned tummy in a sports bra and captioned the photo: “No filters, no fillers, no pretty mirrors.”
