Amal Clooney issued a throwback style statement at the Venice Film Festival, rocking a bright Fuchsia mini dress on the train stopping the show.
The 47-year-old human rights lawyer accompanied her husband George Clooney to show off her vast figure in a body-fitting strapless style when she accompanied her to the premiere of his new film, Jay Kelly, on Thursday.
The bold dress seemed to have been inspired by style from the ’80s, from its racks, buttons running in the middle, and materials like tafeta.
Amal finished off the look with a gold clutch and silver T-strap aquadzura heel, which is a drop earring.
George, 64, returned to the spotlight after abruptly withdrawing from the “Jay Kelly” promotional event on Wednesday due to illness.
“George has been diagnosed with a sinus infection and is under medical orders to reduce all activity today,” his representative said.
George and Amal arrived in Venice on Wednesday, and Amal was wearing a Butter Yellow Bal main midi dress. They also took photos on a date night at Lake Como, Italy on Tuesday. Amal was once again surprised in a tall, shoulder-length malmo mini dress trimmed with ostrich feathers along the cuffs and hem.
The mother of two has recently shown several fascinating looks at Lake Como. Earlier this month, she wore a one-handed bajri mishkamidi dress covered in silver sequins and a fringe for another night out with her husband.
Amal praised George for letting her go on to her with a rare comment about her marriage last month.
“I have a life partner who is very supportive of my job,” a human rights lawyer told Glamour magazine.
“So I don’t think I have to apologize or hold it back.”
The power couple has been married since September 2014 and shares 8-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.
“I feel very fortunate to meet this incredible woman,” George told his wife’s “CBS Morning” in April.
“And I feel like I’ve hit a jackpot. There’s no day when I don’t think I’m the luckyest person in the world. That’s great.”
