Amanda Seyfried has admitted that juggling her acting career with raising her and husband Thomas Sadosky’s two children is “really difficult.”
“This is the most I’ve ever worked with two kids, and I’ve never had two movies released at the same time,” the Mamma Mia star told Us Weekly in an interview published Sunday.
“So I’m a little banana-ish right now.”
Seyfried, 40, and Sadoski, 49, married in 2017. The couple have an 8-year-old daughter, Nina, and a 5-year-old son, Thomas.
The actress has been busy promoting her upcoming film The Housemaid alongside co-stars Sidney Sweeney and Brandon Skrenner.
The film, directed by Paul Feig, is scheduled for release on December 19th.
Seyfried also appears in Mona Fastvold’s film The Last Testament, which will be released on December 25th.
Elsewhere in the interview, the Mean Girls star said both films are “very different” and warned viewers not to read Freda McFadden’s The Housemaid until they’ve seen the movie.
“That’ll ruin your twist,” she teased.
Despite Seyfried’s busy schedule, she has sometimes skipped events to spend time with her family.
In January 2024, she skipped the 2024 Emmy Awards and instead spent time with her daughter.
At the time, the “Dear John” star shared a photo of herself wearing a dress designed by Nina on her Instagram Stories.
Seyfried captioned a photo of herself wearing a minidress from the time: “Celebrating my Emmy win with a 6 year old’s homemade creation.”
In July, the “Les Misérables” star also said she was enjoying spending time with her family on a vacation to Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
“This is our happy place. We love the quiet, the beach, and just having the chance to slow down together. No big plans, just having time to walk, eat, and breathe,” she told Hello!
