After Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson set the internet on fire last week when they admitted they were dating (or something), Bravo announced that the show’s long-awaited spinoff, In the City, starring Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard, will premiere on May 19th. The show’s debut will be a two-hour crossover with the season 10 finale of Summer House. Bravo also revealed the entire cast of “In the City,” including “Summer House” alums Daniel Olivera and Andrea Denver.
“Summer House” fans already know that “In the City,” which was filmed in New York City last fall, will depict the end of Cooke and Batula’s marriage. The couple, who married on camera in September 2021, announced their split in January 2026, a month before “Summer House” season 10 premiered. And the superteaser for ‘In the City’ has a lot of ‘marriage scene’-like brawls, with Bhatura saying: Cook said, “We don’t have premarital sex, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you,” to which Cook replied, “That’s a losing battle.” Then Batula says, “Are you threatening me?”
But given the recent shocking announcement that Batula and Wilson are exploring a relationship, it’s their loving hug in the trailer that will definitely catch fans’ attention. “Hi, Mandy!” Wilson says warmly, hugging Batula. (Wilson appears only as a guest on “In the City.”) Batula and Wilson confirmed they are dating after weeks of internet sleuthing within the Bravosphere sparked by DeuxMoi, which included a canceled Amazon Live show, a lack of likes, and cryptic posts by the “Summer House” star.
In contrast to other periods of turmoil in Bravo stars’ lives, the network did not resume filming “Summer House” to capture the aftermath of Amanda and West’s scandal, and the resulting fallout with Cooke. “Summer House” star Ciara Miller is said to be Batula’s best friend and Wilson’s ex-girlfriend. And for the rest of the cast (although we know from Cooke, “Carl is a mess”) the “Summer House” reunion will be filmed later this month (Bravo hasn’t said when) and will be released after the show’s May 19 finale.
Beyond the heated argument between Cooke and Batula, and a brief moment between Batula and Wilson, the trailer also featured Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Denver, Lexi Sandin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Fergill, Whitney Fransway (who starred in The Bachelor series), Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, and Katie Arundell in the action. “Nick,” Daniel said enthusiastically over dinner. “Are you married to Yvonne?” Nick says, “Yes,” and Gavin replies, “That’s not what I said on boys night!” “I felt ashamed that I was choosing a partner who kept abandoning me,” Lindsay said during a tearful FaceTime with her parents. Apart from Cooke and Batula’s disastrous marriage, it appears that their marriage is also facing challenges as they continue on their journey to conceive.
“In The City” is produced by Truly Original (a Banijay America company) and executive produced by Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hirsch, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Giacimo, Lori Gordon, Tamara Nazim Coudurier and Faith Gaskins.
The full cast of “In the City” is as follows:
Kyle Cook has always been the life of the party, but Loverboy is under unprecedented financial pressure and is scrambling to stay afloat. What started as a DJ to gain recognition and fill the financial gap quickly became a second career.
Amanda Batula is focused on finding a balance between her personal life and professional ambitions, while the end of her marriage is front and center.
After 10 summers in the Hamptons, Lindsay Hubbard enters a new chapter as a fiercely independent single mother. Rebuilding her life and rediscovering herself on her own terms, Lindsay balances time with her mom with an intentional return to dating, relying on her best friend along the way.
After nearly 10 years together, furniture entrepreneur Nick Barber, known for his charm and self-paced energy, finally proposed out of the blue. Yvonne Najor is a former vice president of marketing for a high-profile nightlife empire who is now redefining success beyond the velvet rope after an unexpected layoff. Their marriage appears to be solid, but latent tensions about having children begin to surface. Yvonne turns to her best friend Lindsay for support, and Nick weighs career pressures and financial uncertainty to decide if he’s really ready to start a family.
Georgina Ferzuli, a popular dermatologist and medical director of two successful clinics, is preparing to launch her own skincare line while navigating life as a single mother following a painful separation. Along with her best friend and client Lindsey, she faces the realities of raising children in New York City, dating, and managing a complicated relationship with her ex-boyfriend.
After less than a year of dating, former model and social media influencer Whitney Fransway left Los Angeles for New York to live with her boyfriend, Kenny Martin, a self-made real estate investor and venture capitalist. Since appearing on The Bachelor, Whitney has always been a romantic at heart and willing to take big risks for love, while Kenny, Kyle’s friend and boyfriend investor, is an outspoken truth teller who is never afraid to challenge those closest to him. As their relationship deepens and Kenny confronts the recent loss of his mother, the two must confront their own mismatched timelines.
As Daniel Olivera spends his summer in the Hamptons looking for new adventures, he falls head over heels for Eoin Heavey, and their whirlwind romance moves at lightning speed. Now living together, they navigate a fast-paced love story while juggling the demands of building Eoin’s hotel technology start-up, Measure D, and Daniel’s new dynamic with former best friend Lindsay. As skepticism from the group surrounds them, they are quickly determining whether they can handle the growing pressure.
Gavin Moseley is a fixture in New York nightlife, building a string of successful bars and speakeasies frequented by friends and celebrities, including his best friend Kyle. A typical New York bachelor, he thrives on the party scene and avoids settling down despite having many on-again, off-again relationships. As his best friend Kenny becomes more serious about love, a rift in their bromance may be inevitable.
Fresh off their first year of marriage, Andrea Denver and his wife Lexi Sandin have returned to New York after months of traveling. Andrea, 34, whose parents are in Italy, is under time pressure to start the family she’s always wanted. But beneath Lexi’s calm exterior hides some of her biggest unanswered questions about their future. They must decide whether their Italian dream home will remain a vacation getaway or become their forever home. Even if they love each other deeply, their visions for what happens next may not match.
Katie Arundel is trustworthy, warm, and one of the few people Amanda trusts completely as her childhood best friend. Katie fearlessly challenges Kyle in the way only Ride or Die can. Although she is fiercely loyal, Katie is also close to Daniel, so she can’t always see eye to eye with Amanda, which comes with complications.
