Amal and George Clooney were spotted arriving at Milan airport in sporty and spicy outfits ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Amal chose head-to-toe Versace as a nod to her host nation.
Her mostly black outfit included a wool cashmere coat ($4,390), a miniskirt ($1,195), and a Medusa 95 bag ($2,495).
She completed her look with the fashion house’s attention-grabbing leopard print boots.
Meanwhile, George went for a mostly monochrome look, opting for navy blue trousers and a navy coat, which he teamed with a black scarf and casual Adidas sneakers.
Versace is a longtime favorite of Amal. Human rights lawyers often wear this label at galas, red carpet events, after-parties, etc.
Considering Amal has British, Lebanese and French citizenship, and the fact that her American husband has just obtained additional French citizenship, it’s anyone’s guess who the Clooneys will be rooting for at the games over the next two weeks.
However, they are known for their love of Lake Como and Italian fashion.
One thing’s for sure: We’re likely to see many more Versace looks from where this look was born.
