Allison Holker honors her late husband, Stephen “Twitch.”
On Monday, September 29th, the 37-year-old professional dancer paid tribute to the boss for his 43rd birthday. On December 14th, 2022, Stephen died of suicide at the age of 40.
Since then, Holker and his children have been celebrating his legacy. In an Instagram post Monday, she shared how she and their children celebrated his birthday. We first met the couple in 2010, so I think they’ll be able to dance and get married in three years. Holker was already the mother of 17-year-old daughter Wesley, whose boss was adopted. The couple also shares their sons Maddox, 9th and daughter Zaia.
“Happy Stephen, Birthday in Heaven. We loved you and still feel all your love ❤️. “Send all our love and support to you and thank you for your love.”

Her carousel included photos of four people gathered around the kitchen counter smiling with Oreo cakes, each child holding their own cupcakes with a distinctive candle.
The following photo shows a young sibling smiling with his mom at a comic bookstore. Maddox smiled for the camera, showing off his Batman comic book, and Zaire lifted up Hershey’s chocolate bar and smiled sweetly.

On Family Day, they enjoyed a Korean barbecue together, posing in a restaurant, with their two daughters hugging each other as Holker hugged their son.
The final photo of Holker was photographed with the boss and his family during Christmas time. In family photos, Zaia is still a baby and can be seen embracing her mother’s lap. Maddox laughed with a big smile as her sister held him in her lap, and the boss stood behind the whole family.

Several friends and followers provided messages of family support in the comments section.
Dancing with the Stars alum Amanda Kroots wrote, “Love your friends. This is beautiful!”
One follower said, “Love this! ❤Jin, have a heavenly birthday! 😇. This is something you won’t regret when you learn that your kids are really grateful that they are still celebrating his birthday!

Since his death, Holker has been open about the first few days following the boss’s suicide. In January, she told people she was fighting “scary” demons, including hidden drug addiction and unsolved childhood trauma.
She also shared that she was able to team up with resources to help handle losses, such as the National Alliance of Mental Illness and Maple Counseling.
“I have so many other resources, so I learned something that a lot of people don’t know. I need to talk to a lot of people, so once I learn something, mental health can affect anyone at any time in my life,” Holker said.
“Those who have a lot of light, they still go through a lot of darkness,” she said. “And that’s fine because you can’t have it without someone else.”
