Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban may have dropped hints that they were heading to Splitville before the news of the bomb separation broke.
Insider told Page 6 on Monday that the actress tried to save her and the country singer’s 19-year marriage and didn’t want to separate.
Sources shared that the relationship ran the course, and another insider told TMZ that they have lived in a different home in Nashville, Tennessee “since the beginning of the summer.”
According to the outlet, Kidman, 58, is “holding his family” by caring for her and Urban’s daughter, 17 and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
To the shocking news, exe may have subtly revealed in recent interviews and social media snubs that there are issues in paradise.

Kidman and Urban, 57, last took a photo together at a Los Angeles Football Club game in Nashville on June 20th.
The “Moulin Rouge” star and “Let It Roll” singer appeared cheerfully as they chatted in the secluded section of Geodis Park.
Prior to that, he appeared at the 2025 Country Music Awards held in Frisco, Texas on May 8th.
At the time, Kidman and Urban appeared head-on heels for each other while laughing at the audience and holding their hands.
Social Media Snub
Kidman shared her summer introspection with her children via Instagram in August, but Urban was significantly missing.
Some photos show the “babygirl” star on vacation, diving into the sea and walking around the carnival.

The last time Kidman shared a photo with Urban on social media was his 19th wedding anniversary in June.
They were seen cozy together with black and white snaps while the guitar of the “fighter” singer was hung from the straps on their necks.
“Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️,” the actress captioned the photo.
Meanwhile, Urban has not featured his estranged wife on social media since the Country Music Awards in May.
Urban concludes interview with questions about Kidman’s sex scene
In July, Urban suddenly ended his Zoom interview with “Hayley & Max in the Morning” when asked about the steamy scene between Kidman and Zac Efron in the 2024 Netflix film “A Family Affair.”
“What do you think of Keith Urban when he saw a beautiful young man like Zac Efron and his beautiful wife on TV having these beautiful love scenes?” asked co-host Max Burford.
However, the singer “we were Zurth” did not respond. The producers shared that he was “disconnected from Zoom.”
“I think his team hung up because they didn’t want to ask us that question,” the producer said.
“He doesn’t like to talk about his wife,” exclaimed Haley Peterson.
Kidman focuses on new projects
Earlier this month, Kidman shared that she and her Bestreese Witherspoon have big plans to take Hollywood to Nashville.
During a Q&A at the Nashville Film Festival, the “Time” star said, “There’s a lot of room for production here.”
“The crew is great, the actors, and the people, everything… I feel it will take off and keep taking off.
Kidman also finished filming “Practical Magic 2” this month.
Kidman talks about “resilience”
In an interview with Forbes released Monday, Kidman was openly speaking about how successful she was in the film industry taught her that she was resilient.
“I think having a career that lasted so long is something that taught me about resilience,” she said.
“I’ve been told “no” many times in my career. It’s about being brave, being willing to test things and being criticized, and being willing to be unstoppable by that criticism. ”
Kidman shared, “All that’s not going well for (her)[she]actually led him to something else that (she) has come to experience that he is much more grateful for.”
“It’s also (some) resilience. It’s not setting your vision on what you think you have. It’s a joy to explore as you age, and (stay) it (stays) — as you age, it’s happy to open up,” the “Big Little Lies” star added.
There are no cries of interviews
Kidman didn’t particularly mention Urban when she spoke to Forbes about her life.
However, the “Dogville” star mentioned how she uses reading as a “escape” and how she uses the wellness tradition of “forest bathing,” a practice of immersing in nature.
She also briefly mentioned going to a hot yoga class with her daughter.
Kidman has hit hitmakers in the past, stating in a January 2025 W Magazine cover story that the secret of their successful marriage is a “double shower.”
Kidman will be taking part in the beauty event solo
A few days before news of the Urban and Kidman split, the latter attended the Clé De Peau Beauté event solo on September 25th.
The rally was a major part of businessmen as she was appointed ambassador for beauty brands.
She looked chic on special occasions, wearing black Vivienne Westwood and $47,000 worth of jewelry for every WWD.
Kidman missing from Urban tours
Kidman has not been seen on Urban’s High and Alive World Tour since it launched in May.
The Grammy Award winner actively documented his time in his last post after the Canadian tour halted last week.
Urban’s next concert day is scheduled for Hershey, Pennsylvania on Thursday.
