Michael Crawford’s role in The Phantom of the Opera not only brought him long-term success, but also a long-term partner.
The Tony Award-winning actor, known for starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, has two daughters, Emma and Lucy, with his first wife, Gabrielle Lewis. After their breakup, he began dating Natasha McCullough, whom he met while appearing on The Phantom of the Opera.
Michael and Natasha have been together for nearly 30 years. “I have a good partner now. I couldn’t respect Tash more. And admiration and love,” he told the Daily Mail in 2016.
Michael hasn’t said much about his partner or children, but they’ve all come forward to support the theater alum over the years. Most recently, Natasha, Emma, and Lucy all attended Michael’s Kennedy Center Honors for his achievements in the arts in early December 2025.

Natasha is a chef and former ballerina

Michael isn’t the only one with a background in the arts, according to his Instagram profile, Natasha is also a former ballerina, chef, consultant, author and teacher.
According to her biography on the website of publisher Octopus Books, she spent 30 years as a professional ballerina, performing with New York’s prestigious Joffrey Ballet and Boston Ballet, before appearing on Broadway and in Los Angeles’ productions of The Phantom of the Opera.
Natasha currently teaches cooking courses and writes between Los Angeles, London and New Zealand. Her third cookbook, The Apothecary Chef, is scheduled to be published in February 2026, according to her Instagram.

According to the Daily Mail, Michael met Natasha while co-starring in The Phantom of the Opera. It’s unclear when they started dating, but Michael told the show in May 2016 that they had been together for “nearly 20 years.”
“We’re really great,” he said of his relationship with Natasha.
Michael had two children with ex-wife Lewis.

According to The Advertiser, Lucy has a child with her husband, making Michael her grandfather.
Michael told the magazine in 2012: “I love coming to the Tasman River, I love sneaking out and going around the place. I love seeing my daughter, my grandson, my son-in-law. It’s good.”
Most recently, Michael surprised Lucy with the Citizen of the Year award in Australia in January 2020.

Although Michael’s children lead relatively private lives compared to their famous father, they have been active in supporting their father since the early 1990s.
In March 2011, they joined Michael at the London afterparty for Webber’s West End production of The Wizard of Oz, in which he starred as the wizard.
Most recently, Natasha, Emma, and Lucy all attended the Kennedy Center Honors Ceremony in early December 2025. Their father was also an award recipient at this award ceremony.
