Margot Robbie is bringing the Yorkshire wilderness to Hollywood.
The 35-year-old actress has officially kicked off the press tour for Wuthering Heights. She and longtime stylist Andrew Mukamal pull their fashion references straight from the pages of Emily Bronte’s 1847 Gothic novel.
Nearly three years after her Barbie red carpet extravaganza, Robbie once again proves her reign as the queen of method dressing with her eye-catching gowns, standout accessories and Victorian-inspired silhouettes. The film, directed by Emerald Fennell and co-starring Jacob Elordi, will be released in theaters on February 13th. See all the wild and romantic looks below.
Adding “height” to “Wuthering Heights”
Robbie kicked off her press tour on January 26 wearing a black Roberto Cavalli Resort 2026 minidress featuring dramatic bell sleeves and a velvet-trimmed square neckline. She accessorized her black velvet choker with a striking ruby and gold pendant necklace and wore Christian Louboutin’s rugged patent leather stilettos. The heel was 130mm, over 5 inches, essentially a pointe.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
For her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Robbie wore a sheer black lace Alexander McQueen minidress from the label’s Spring 2026 collection. The gothic piece featured a keyhole front and asymmetrical hem, and was accessorized with vintage McQueen rosary bead sandals and Jessica McCormack diamond earrings.
Her hair is styled in loose waves blowing in the wind, a subtle nod to the Yorkshire moors.
double the wings
Attending a press day in Los Angeles, Robbie wore two winged Victoria Beckham spring 2026 looks, each an ode to a specific passage from the novel. Mukamal captioned the photo with a quote from the book that explains his character’s descent into madness. “As she rolled, her fevered bewilderment became even more frantic, and she tore the pillow with her teeth…She seemed to have found the childish pastime of plucking the feathers from the rent she had just paid and arranging them by type on the sheets.”
Sizzling snakeskin
Robbie wowed at a photocall in Los Angeles wearing a deep red Dilara Findikoglu set that included a high-low micro miniskirt, beaded bra top, and ruffled jacket with built-in corset. She completed her look with snakeskin pumps and a red choker with a diamond pendant. Mukamal captioned the look with another line from the novel: “I’d rather be hugged by a snake 🐍”
los angeles premiere
For the Los Angeles premiere on January 28, Robbie went all out in a dramatic Schiaparelli ball gown layered with lace, velvet, and satin. Designer Daniel Rosebery explains the intentions behind the custom look in a video, saying the silhouette creates drama, the sheer black lace corset bodice brings romance, and the scarlet hemline captures the passion of the story.
But what is real resistance? Cartier’s Taj Mahal necklace — Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor in 1972 for her 40th birthday. When Burton gave it to his wife, he famously quipped, “I wanted to buy her the Taj Mahal, but shipping is too expensive.”
This piece is inscribed with a quote that appears to have been taken directly from Bronte’s novel. “Love is eternal.”
