Alix Earle’s stepmother, Ashley Dupre, dealt a terrible blow to former “Dancing with the Stars” professional Cheryl Burke.
Dupre posted a live reaction to the influencer’s “Halloween Night” tango routine on TikTok on Tuesday, praising the dance as “absolutely amazing.”
Three judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough, each gave Earl and professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy a score of 10, while guest judge Burke gave the dance duo a score of 9.
After Burke, 41, revealed his score, Dupre, 40, yelled angrily in the video: “Oh, give me more Ozempic.”
When one of the young children questioned this cruel remark, she doubled down and said, “She looks weird. She doesn’t look like that.”
Some of her followers in the comments section weren’t too happy with the former escort’s criticism of the two-time Mirror Ball champion.
One critic said: “That Ozempic comment was completely unnecessary.”
“Y’all are aggressive bullies and think it’s okay because Alix didn’t get a 10? What the hell is the problem?” another added.
Many of her followers found her comments funny, writing: “Ozempik’s comment 😂 I was literally thinking the same thing 😂😂” and “I’m sick of Ozempic’s comment.”
Burke broke her silence about her dramatic change in March, when many concerned fans thought she was ill and others hurled “shocking and harmful” accusations at her.
“I’m not participating in Ozempic. I’m not sick,” she clarified in a candid TikTok video. “I didn’t get a face transplant, I didn’t get an eyebrow lift.
“What’s going on and the level of projection that I’m witnessing is tremendous,” Burke continued, slamming those who hate gossiping about her as if she’s not a “person” and comparing her current appearance to her younger self.
“I hate to say it too much, but Cheryl no longer exists,” the choreographer declared. “Assuming is really exhausting.”
“My face has changed because I’ve changed. I’ve been through a lot of trauma and divorce. This is by no means a pity party,” she said, referring to her breakup with Matthew Lawrence. “Sobriety, burnout, reinvention, I healed, I lost, I grieved like everyone else.”
In August, the Emmy nominee said she is “very generous” when it comes to dieting, revealing that she lost 41 pounds by using a “delicious” portion-controlled food delivery service called ZEN to stay in shape.
She also revealed that she used to be an “emotional eater” who would eat late and go to fast food drive-thrus when she was at her heaviest, 150 pounds.
“The last time I got tested, I was 109 years old,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “I feel great. My energy is on another level. 109 doesn’t matter. What matters is how I feel.”
The “DWTS” alum, who retired as a professional in November 2022, spoke with Page Six ahead of Tuesday’s show and gave his thoughts on the backlash judges are receiving due to their scoring.
“For new fans, I think that’s something that they should try and figure out, obviously you can’t force it down their throats, but you can’t compare couples because they don’t have the same dance style,” she explained.
She particularly defended Inaba, who has been criticized by fans online for giving harsher feedback.
“The judges all said things that maybe the audience didn’t like. But when Carrie Ann says something, the reaction was certainly very different.”
“But, you know, ‘fuck you if you do, damn if you don’t.’ You’ll never please everyone.”
