Acorn TV has announced a season 2 update of “Irish Blood” starring Alicia Silverstone and Jason O’Mara. Season 2 will consist of six-hour episodes and will begin production in early 2026.
The first season of “Irish Blood” follows Fiona Fox (Silverstone). “The path of life is assigned by a father who abandoned her and her mother on his 10th birthday,” according to the official logline. “When a message from her father sends her to Ireland, she begins to learn the important truth about her father and uncover the mysteries of her family that she doesn’t know existed.
Season 1 stars O’Mara (“The Man of High Castle”), Wendy Cruson (“We Are Liars”), Diabramoloi (“Wild Mountain Time”), Simone Kerby (“His Dark Materials”), Ruth Cod (“How to Train a Dragon”), and Leonardo Theo (“Wheel of Time”).

The series is an executive produced by Christina Jennings, Scott Garvey, Paul Donovan, Eilish McElmeel, Christina Ray, Aaron Martin, Silverstone and Molly McLin. He previously directed season 1.
