Alex Guanasherli’s latest challenge is not cooking. It finds the love of Eric Ajapon.
Chef Iron took her to Instagram on Wednesday, September 24th to share her sweet exchange with fellow Food Network stars. Her post had a clear question: “What about my friend Eric Ajapon?”
She shared a screenshot of the text exchange between Alex vs. American Coscars. This started with Guanasherli, 56, and then he said, “Hello.
Adjepong, 38, said, “Hey, friends. Thank you for checking in. I work a lot and hang with my daughter. There’s not much else. Lol, you know my lifestyle.”
One mother wrote, “That’s it? I need to find you a GF.” She continued following a positive response from the chef owner at Elmina at Washington, DC Restaurant.
One father wrote, “If there’s someone to help you, it’s you. Yes, chef, please!” The chef owner of Butter in New York City replied, “I’m on it.”

Comic posts quickly exploded online, with nearly 800,000 views and thousands of comments by the time the story was published. Some of the comments came from fans who suggested adjepong, like one person who wrote, “Hold On On Me Let Me Let Me Hein Edivorced et cime😂.”
Many food network hosts, judges and personality were also involved in finding some love for Adjepong.
Aarti Sequeira said, “There’s a panel of Indian aunts who are heavy with a network of single women for Eric. She asked the cooking network to “spread the word”!!!” at the end of her comment.
Michael Simon suggested a double date show. “Are they both single? Alex vs adjepong .. It’ll be like cooking in the Love series!.. cmon @foodnetwork .. It’s juicy!” he wrote.
They weren’t alone in tagging the Food Network, like Jet Tila, who wrote that he “sees hell from that show” if the network filmed.
Tiffany Delhi shared his experiences as he tried to set up adjepong. She said, “Bachelor’s Degree: Chef’s Edition 😂 I tried to find him and failed miserably.”
