With the launch of the new AI Film Studio, Animeta has placed a big bet on artificial intelligence, with Singapore-based creator Tech Company expanding its AI-powered content productions.
The new Mumbai-based studio represents Animeta’s strategic pivot. It builds a reputation that generates influencer marketing campaigns for blue chip clients. The company’s existing roster includes Amazon, Warner Music, L’Oréal Group, Tata Group, McDonald’s and Uber.
The AI Film Studio Initiative is developed in partnership with Google Cloud’s Startup Program, and specifically utilizes Vertex AI’s VEO3 video generation model. Animeta brings existing technology infrastructure to ventures to computer vision, video encoding, natural language machining and large-scale language models.
Anish Mehta, founder of the company, said: “For 20 years, we’ve helped rethink storytelling through animation. Now, our AI Film Studio is here to push these boundaries more than ever before.
The studio’s purpose is to ensure that brands are quickly produced and expanded to create high quality brand promotional content and meet the demands of fast-paced digital landscapes.
Mehta has built an animation studio Cosmos-Maya, based in Singapore and India, into one of Asia’s best animated costumes as CEO for 10 years. Under Mehta’s stewardship, the company has grown from 30 employees to over 1,200 people, creating the Indian breakout animation hit “Motu Patlu”. In 2021, NewQuest Capital Partners acquired majority ownership of the company.
