AI actress Tilly Norwood has been attracting attention from multiple talent agents, actors, comedians and producers Elleen van der Belden, who spoke to the panel at the Zurich Summit, the industrial strand of the Zurich Film Festival.
Tilly Norwood is the first creation to emerge from the recently released AI Talent Studio Xicoia, a spinoff from Van Der Velden’s AI production studio Particle 6.
Van der Belden said the studio is quietly moving forward with its AI project and further announcements will be made in the coming months.
“We were in a lot of the boardrooms around February, and everyone was like, ‘No, this is nothing. That’s not going to happen.’ Then, by May, people were thinking, ‘We need to do something with you guys,” said van der Belden, who was interviewed on stage with Diana Lodderhose’s Diana Lodderhose on Saturday.
“When we first launched Tilly, people were like, ‘What is it?’ And now we are going to announce which institutions will represent her in the coming months. ”
In July, Norwood revealed on her Facebook page that she had appeared in her first role, the comedy sketch “AI Commissioner.”
Norwood said, “I can’t believe it… my first role is live! I’m appearing on “AI Commissioner.” This is a new comedy sketch that playfully explores the future of television development created by an incredible team at Particle6 Productions. ”
She said, “I might generate AI, but I feel very realistic emotions right now.
“I want Tilly to be the next Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman, and that’s what we’re doing,” van der Belden told Broadcast International.
“People realize that their creativity doesn’t have to be boxed on a budget. There are no creative constraints. That’s why AI can really be positive,” continued van der Belden. “It’s just about changing people’s perspectives.”
Particle6 creates content across multiple genres, from “Miss Holland” on BBC 3 to “True Crime Secrets” on Hearst Networks, for “See See Wow!” Sky Kids.
