It looks like Kim Kardashian is back on the Hollywood horse.
Sources told Page Six that she is considering working with the mogul again after her last scripted appearance in Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair was deemed a “crime against television.”
We hear that the director of “Love Story” is in talks with the reality star to join a new series about Melinda Farina, a so-called “beauty broker” who matches wealthy clients with top plastic surgeons.
The Skims mogul has become something of a muse for Murphy, appearing in 2023’s American Horror Story: Delicate and 2025’s courtroom drama All’s Fair. (He is known for injecting and refilling the same actors into multiple projects.)
Back in November, the legal drama All’s Fair, starring Kardashian and Naomi Watts, debuted with an incredible 0% Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. Slate called it “perhaps one of the worst shows of all time” and the Guardian described it as “fascinating and existentially frightening”.
But it looks like Kardashian wasn’t kept away from TV forever.
If Murphy can pull things together, the new show will center around Farina. Farina charges about $750 an hour to consult with clients, decipher medical terminology, and connect them with the right doctors for any tweaks, tackles, or new faces. Gwyneth Paltrow is also reportedly a customer.
Kardashian might be a perfect fit for the role, and not just because she looks like Farina. However, there are other ways she can be involved in the project.
News of the show’s development was first reported on Carson Griffith’s Substack “Rich People Sh-t.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and her family are famously knowledgeable about the subject.
Her mother, Kris Jenner, helped boost Farina’s business by telling her about the much-talked-about facelift from one of Farina’s favorite plastic surgeons, Park Avenue doctor Stephen M. Levine.
“Kris Jenner isn’t even my client,” Farina told The New York Times in a profile. “And when she came out about the facelift, my inbox exploded. I had over 700 inquiries that day.”
Farina will create a dramatic contour. The Times reported, “She got into legal battles with beauty influencers. She publicly accused two of the industry’s best-known doctors of botched surgeries. (One of them sued her, and the lawsuit was settled out of court.)”
Murphy seems obsessed with the pursuit of perfection. He created “Nip/Tuck,” which aired from 2003 to 2010. His recent show “Beauty” starring Bella Hadid is about a virus that makes people gorgeous but has deadly effects.
Representatives for Murphy, Kardashian and Farina did not respond to requests for comment.
