Adam Sandler and wife Jackie had a date night at the 2025 Gotham Awards.
The couple stepped out together on Monday, Dec. 1, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City for the first big event of awards season.
While Sandler, 59, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the Noah Baumbach drama Jay Kelly, wore a suit and tie for now, Jackie wore a sleek black dress with gold heels and carried a matching gold clutch.
In Jay Kelly, George Clooney plays the titular world-famous movie star who begins to question his life choices and ends up following his daughter (Grace Edwards) to Europe as she travels with friends.

Jay’s decision to leave everything behind and travel abroad brings his loyal team, including publicist Liz (Laura Dern) and agent Ron (Sandler), to join him.
Ron, for example, feels torn between supporting his clients and friends and being there for his family.

Sandler, who received critical acclaim for his acting, starred alongside Benicio del Toro (“One Battle After Another”), Jacob Elordi (“Frankenstein”), Inga Ybsdotter Lilles (“Sentimental Value”), and He is nominated alongside Dear Moore (Father Mother Sister Brother), Wunmi Mosaku (Sinners), Andrew Scott (Blue Moon), and Alexander Skarsgård (Pillion).
The Saturday Night Live alum recently spoke to Tudum about the subject matter of the film, in which her daughter Sadie, 19, appears in a supporting role as Ron’s daughter. (Adam and Jackie, 51, are also parents to 17-year-old Sunny, who also shares the screen with her famous father.)

“Like anyone who works, if I can find a way to hold[my family]close and see them as much as possible, I will do it. It’s a job that takes me away from home for long periods of time. If I can bring my family with me, I always try to do that… You don’t want to leave. That’s your true love. All you think about is your family, your wife and your children,” he told the outlet.
When PEOPLE asked Sandler on Monday’s red carpet what the best thing about working with his daughters was, he quickly replied, “Just being together.”
The 2025 Gotham Awards are presented by the Gotham Film & Media Institute, which “celebrates and develops independent film and media creators, providing career-building resources, access to industry influencers, and a path to broader recognition,” according to a statement.
