Aaron Rodgers appears to be subtly attacking ex-girlfriends Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley while revealing details about his mysterious wife Brittani.
“I fell into this crazy city,” he said, referring to his past relationships. “I was with people who were calling the paparazzi and leaking and talking about where I lived. Who forced me to post on the proverbial Instagram and social media?”
“I never wanted to live in public,” he continued, praising his current partner.
The NFL athlete met Brittani in 2017 and revealed during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Wednesday that he “wanted to be with her.”
“I knew there was something special about this,” he said.
“She’s not a public person,” he stressed, noting that she has said she “will never live in Green Bay” and doesn’t want to be a “player’s wife.”
Mr. Rogers, 42, said he eventually “went back across the pond.”
Although he didn’t name anyone specifically, Rodgers famously dated Patrick and Woodley during the period he mentioned during the interview.
Rodgers also previously dated Olivia Munn, but they broke up in 2017 after three years together (he said that was the first time he met Brittany).
As for Patrick, they started dating in 2018 and dated for two years before breaking up in 2020. Rodgers then began dating Woodley later that year.
He and the “Big Little Lies” actress got engaged in 2021, but broke up in February 2022.
There’s no love lost between Rodgers and his famous ex-lover.
In May 2025, Patrick, 43, claimed her relationship with Rodgers was so “emotionally abusive” that it had left her “emptied.”
“People couldn’t imagine that I lacked confidence and belief in simple things about who I was,” the former race car driver said on “The Sage Steele Show.” “Everything was torn to pieces.”
“Yes, he leaves a trail of blood,” she added of Rogers.
Meanwhile, Woodley commented on her breakup with Rodgers in a September 2024 interview with Bustle magazine, admitting that she had fallen in love “many times in situations where I wasn’t available.”
“I’m an easy-going person, I’m easy-going, but I don’t love lightly, and I don’t care lightly. It took me a really long time to realize that it’s not up to me to repair or heal or anything other than protect the deep care and love that I have for the world and my people,” she said.
Mr Woodley, 34, also said he was “not interested” in people who were “hostile” to him or “disparaged” him.
“I used to be a person who…gives and keeps on giving,” she said. “And now I respectfully say, ‘Thank you for the information. Have a wonderful life. I wish you all the best.'”
Representatives for Patrick and Woodley did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
