It looks like Cruz Beckham’s estrangement from Brooklyn Beckham is taking a toll on him.
During a performance at London’s Courtyard Theater on Tuesday, the singer wiped away tears as he sang “Loneliest Boy,” and the new song appears to have been inspired by his relationship with his eldest brother.
“The loneliest boy, I hope you hear me,” Cruise, 21, sings to the crowd, which included his parents David and Victoria Beckham, in a video obtained by the Mirror. “Please stop pushing all your friends away when we’re trying to show you our love.”
He continued, “The loneliest boy, mama, don’t talk too much/It breaks her heart/It shows up in the little things you don’t do/I guess at the end of the day it’s you, yourself, and who you are/Tell me how you live when you’ve got no one to lose.”
A representative for Brooklyn did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Cruise and Victoria have reportedly been on the rocks over Brooklyn’s estrangement, especially after the aspiring chef released a scathing statement in January saying he did not want to reconcile with his family.
“I don’t want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn, 27, wrote on Instagram, before addressing rumors that his wife Nicola Peltz was controlling him.
“I’m not being controlled. For the first time in my life, I’m standing up for myself. My parents have always controlled what was said about our family in the media.”
At the time, Brooklyn said her parents had been “endlessly trying to ruin” her relationship with Peltz even before their 2022 wedding.
He also claimed that Victoria stopped making Peltz’s dress at the last minute, forcing him to find a new dress.
Brooklyn also claimed that the fashion designer hijacked her and the “Lola” star’s first dance.
Although Victoria and David have not yet addressed the accusations, the couple and their families continue to show their love and support for Brooklyn on social media and in public.
Earlier this month, the Spice Girl alum and former athlete shared a birthday tribute to Brooklyn on Instagram, with David captioning a dump of photos: “We love you.”
As for Cruz, he wished his brother a happy birthday while speaking to reporters in Paris, France.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn labeled Nicola’s mother Claudia Peltz “the best mother-in-law” and removed the Spice Girl alum from her UK Mother’s Day post.
