All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Live Pay-per-view events officially appear on HBO Max.
The streaming service will begin live broadcasts of AEW Pay-per-View (PPV) on AEW All-Out from September 20th. This occurs from the Scottia Bank Arena in Toronto, Canada. TNT and HBO MAX will guide everything and begin on September 20th at 2pm.
AEW PPVs can still be purchased on other platforms, including Amazon Prime Video.
When AEW and HBO MAX (then Max) announced their new streaming agreements in 2024, it was reported that live PPVs would appear on the platform in addition to past PPV libraries, but details are now available.
HBO MAX streams AEW PPV events without ads, with all the marketing and promotion of the event being primarily focused on HBO MAX. Pre-orders for AEW All Out will be released on September 5th, with US HBO MAX subscribers able to purchase the PPV at an exclusive price of $39.99. Purchases and access to PPV content may vary by subscription provider.
Once the purchase is complete, subscribers will be able to find the event under “My Purchases” via the “My Stuff” page of the HBO Max menu. After the event, replays will only be available for purchasers for six months.
AEW’s new agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery allowed AEW programming to simultaneously live stream and stream on demand on HBO Max for US subscribers. AEW’s two major shows, “Dynamite” and “Crossing” continue to air on TBS and TNT, respectively.
News about AEW PPV coming live on HBO Max is shortly after it was announced that WWE and ESPN’s new streaming platforms have partnered with the distribution of WWE live events, including flagship shows such as “WrestleMania” and “The Royal Rumble.”
