Last night, We Are All Human Foundation held its 5th Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street, a night of entertainment and connections celebrating Latinx entrepreneurs, entertainers, and influencers across multiple industries.
The evening was co-chaired by ELLE Editor-in-Chief Nina Garcia, Advertising Week Lord Matt Schechner, Miss Universe President Raul Rocha, and NFL SVP of Global Brand Marketing Marissa Solis. Claudia Romo Edelman, founder and CEO of We Are All Human Foundation, gave a speech that moved the audience to both laughter and tears.
“A new self-aware and empowered Latino is emerging,” Edelman told the crowd. “After all these years, you realize who you are and don’t let others define you. You even took Bad Bunny to the Super Bowl!”
She continued, “Access is gold. Through global events, we have brought the Latinx agenda to the world’s most influential venues.”
Guests were treated to tequila, roast beef fillets and a dazzling performance by Cirque du Soleil. This event wasn’t just a fun party either. The gala raised funds for the We Are All Human initiative, which is “dedicated to advancing equity, unity, and collective progress.”
This has recently included publishing 16 bilingual books for children, hosting the Hispanic Leadership Summit, sending a Hispanic delegation to Davos, and creating a highly popular toolkit series for business owners.
The celebration was also an opportunity to support and honor members of the community, including business titan Gabriel de Alba, marketing director Rita Ferro, journalist Brett Stevens, and astronaut Dr. Ellen Ochoa, the first Hispanic woman in space. This was also the first night the CMO Hall of Fame Awards were presented, highlighting the accomplishments of five female executives working at companies like Gap, TikTok, and the NFL.
