Meghan shared in her As Ever newsletter that she is spending the traditional Thanksgiving holiday cooking a turkey at home.
The Duchess of Sussex gave a glimpse of how she will be spending Thanksgiving this year in a newsletter released Thursday. Markle, 44, revealed she was cooking for Prince Harry and friends in Montecito, California.
“Please know, every time I look around my house and see my husband, children, family, and dear friends (and while also juggling turkey timing and the love and overlap that comes with hostessing), I feel a sense of gratitude,” she wrote.
“I wish you a Thanksgiving full of heart and soul,” she continued.
Markle thanked her subscribers for embracing As Ever products.
“We are so grateful for your support and warmth as we have grown as we have throughout the year and for welcoming this collection into our homes,” she said.
“You invited us into the jam you layered on your morning toast or drizzled over a PB&J for your child’s lunch, the honey you stirred into your tea, the candle you lit to greet the day or end with a soothing bath, the bottle of bubbly you cracked in celebration, or the wine you drank when toasting a loved one,” she continued.
The mother-of-two took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a look inside her new “As Ever” pop-up at Soho Home in West Hollywood, California, and how personal the location is to her.
“Talk about a full-circle moment! In my old neighborhood in West Hollywood, with brands, family, and friends that have been a part of my life for so long…and also part of my love story with H (as our first date was at SH Restaurant),” she shared.
Ahead of Thanksgiving, Markle and Harry, 41, volunteered with their children (Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4) at Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles. The family prepared and packaged meals for local residents facing food insecurity.
The photos were shared on the Archewell website, including a heartwarming shot of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan scooping cookie dough while Lilibet looks on at another volunteer next to them.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published earlier this month, Markle spoke passionately about Prince Harry’s continued support and said she loved him “unaudaciously.”
“There’s no one in the world who loves me more than him, so I know he’ll always have my back,” Markle told the outlet.
“He loves me so boldly and with all his might. He also sees different media than I do, so he has a different perspective,” she continued.
She also gave insight into their dynamic as a couple.
“Some people have a childlike sense of wonder and playfulness. I was really drawn to that and he brought that out in me,” she said.
“It’s reflected in every part of our lives. Even in business, we want people to play, have fun, explore and be creative.”
