“Bob’s Burgers” voice actor Eugene Mirman was described as “incoherent” after making a horrifying 911 call after being dragged out of a fiery car crash in New Hampshire.
In emergency call audio obtained by TMZ on Friday, first responders revealed his condition after being rescued from the 2026 Lucid Gravity all-out attack, which quickly exploded into flames.
“A toll vehicle is on fire…Update, a caller reported that a male got out of the vehicle and got incoherently into the back of the truck,” the responder explained.
In subsequent audio, police can be heard reporting that an “involved bystander cut his hand” and was receiving “medical treatment” at the scene.
On Tuesday, New Hampshire State Police announced in a statement via social media that a man, later identified as Millman, was hospitalized with “serious injuries” after crashing his car into a toll plaza in Bedford, New Hampshire, just before noon.
“While units responded, a veteran state trooper assigned to provide security for Governor Kelly Ayotte came upon the accident, observed the vehicle heavily on fire, and observed the driver still inside,” the statement further reads.
“The driver was then pulled out of the burning vehicle through the window and brought to safety. Governor Ayotte and other witnesses at the scene assisted the officers.”
“Indeed, their actions were heroic,” Col. Mark B. Hall praised in a statement. “Without hesitation, they put themselves at risk to provide assistance to those in need.”
New Hampshire State Police spokesman Tyler Dumont later confirmed that the 51-year-old comedian remained hospitalized Wednesday night with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
His agent, Jay Gassner, confirmed to the New York Times that Millman was in a “very frightening car accident” but was “grateful that he is on the mend.”
Police said the investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
Millman is best known for voicing Gene Belcher on the Fox series Bob’s Burgers, which began airing in 2011. He has also appeared in shows such as “Flight of the Conchords,” “Delocation,” “Archer,” and “Broad City.”
