Blake Robertson is responding to allegations of abuse by his ex-fiancée Hailey Hendrich.

In an exclusive new interview with Page Six, Robertson claimed he acted in “self-defense” during the incident with Hendrich, which took place in October 2025, before the Ultimatum co-stars split following an alleged fight.

Mr Robertson, 26, vehemently denied the charges against him, saying on Wednesday: “Putting my hands on someone is something I cannot take lightly at all.”

Robertson was arrested on Oct. 18 in Nacogdoches, Texas, on suspicion of assault, a class C misdemeanor, according to a booking summary obtained by Page Six. In the state, this type of misdemeanor carries a fine of up to $500 and no jail time.

Hendrich, 23, told TMZ at the time that she ultimately chose not to press charges against Robertson after a private conversation in which she allegedly explained that she wanted Robertson to be held publicly accountable for his alleged actions.

Robertson’s attorney previously told TMZ that Page Six was unable to obtain additional records regarding the arrest because the case was “justifiably dismissed by prosecutors almost immediately and all records were expunged.”

It’s been almost a year since Robertson was arrested, but the case is resurfacing as “Ultimatum” season 4 and the explosive reunion are currently airing on Netflix.

While promoting the show, Hendrich appeared on Wednesday’s episode of the podcast “What’s the Reality” and revealed what allegedly happened during Robertson’s arrest last fall.

Among her claims was that she broke up with Robertson after he bought drinks for two women and drove drunk during an anniversary trip to Charleston, South Carolina, which Robertson denied to Page Six.

Robertson claimed that the “last straw” that led to their breakup occurred a week before his arrest. He told Page Six that after a night out, his ex-girlfriend allegedly “poured beer” on him and instructed her to leave his home in Nacogdoches, Texas.

In the podcast, Hendrich admitted pouring beer on Robertson, but insisted there was more to the story, recalling that she had tried to apologize to Robertson during the argument. She allegedly stood outside the man’s car and pushed him through the rolled down window.

Hendrich claimed on the podcast that Robertson got out of the car and told her, “If you’re going to do something this bad, let’s go.”

“He opened the car door, grabbed me by the shoulders and pushed me back…he pushed me into my friend’s car,” Ms Hendrich claimed, adding that she then got into her friend’s car and could not believe that Mr Robertson allegedly put his hands on her.

Mr Robertson also denied these allegations, saying Mr Hendrich “charged” at Mr Robertson while he was with friends. He claimed that in order to defuse the situation, he “cuddled up to her hand” and got out of the car, walked her to a friend’s car, and placed her in the back seat.

“I said, ‘You guys, take your clothes off,'” he recalled, insisting he didn’t touch her. “I didn’t. It was self-defense to keep her away from me.”

“She made me feel so unsafe that I no longer wanted to be in that relationship,” Robertson claimed.

However, Hendrich claimed on the podcast that Robertson allegedly laid hands on her ex-husband in a fit of rage as they were preparing to move, and was not arrested until the following week.

“I’m sitting in a chair…he grabbed my sweatshirt and pulled me forward as if to drag me out. And I started getting agitated,” she said, claiming she recorded the altercation.

Hendrich said he showed the video to responding officers and Robertson was arrested. Ultimately, she claimed, Hendrich dropped the charges to avoid Robertson being “framed.”

Robertson vehemently denied the allegations, telling Page Six, “The only time I ever put my hands on Haley was — well — when I went over there and put my hands behind her back and gently tried to lift her out of the chair.”

“I said, ‘Okay,’ and I left the house and went to my father’s (residence),” Robertson claimed, adding that she regretted not leaving the house sooner and not calling the police. “I will take responsibility.”

Robertson claimed she called police from her father’s house because she wanted to report Hendrich, who refused to leave the house.

“Why should I call the police about Haley if I think I’ve done something that would get me arrested?” he told us.

Mr Robertson explained that he feels there is a “campaign of oppression” being waged against him, but he has not been able to tell his side of the story.

“There are areas where I’m absolutely responsible,” he told Us, adding, “But there are other areas where I need to shine a light on Hailey.”

Hendrich was not immediately available to comment on Robertson’s allegations against her.

Additionally, in a new interview with Us Weekly, Hendrich revealed that “just reliving the trauma of the alleged domestic violence incident at the time of Ultimatum” was “very difficult.”

“There was a decision I made regarding that whole situation,” she said, alluding to her refusal to press charges when Robertson was first taken into custody on suspicion of hitting her.

Season 4 of “Ultimatum” was filmed from March to May 2025 prior to Robertson’s arrest and released on Netflix on July 15, 2026.

Hendrich told Us Weekly that old wounds were reopened when Robertson’s arrest became public on July 18, just three days after the series began streaming.

“After all the hard work you’ve put into healing, it’s just a matter of experiencing it again,” she told the outlet. “I feel like it’s 1,000 times harder, especially in public. It’s been really hard.”

Hendrich and Robertson eventually co-starred in Ultimatum after Robertson gave Hendrich the choice of marrying or breaking up. Now ex-lovers, they joined five other couples on the dating series to decide whether to stay together and get engaged or explore other connections with the contestants.

Their tumultuous relationship was on full display for viewers when they swapped partners with another couple, Ashley and Killian.

Hendrich and Robertson eventually became engaged, but they broke up four months later in September 2025. They lived together until October of the same year, when an incident of domestic violence occurred.
