Ryan Reynolds made a small cameo appearance in Blake Lively’s Girl’s Day.
The actress was spotted FaceTiming her soccer-loving husband from the pitchside lounge at MetLife Stadium while watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals on Sunday, a spy told Page Six.
Sources said the actress had a “very brief” conversation with musician Sam Smith, who was also in attendance.
As Page Six previously reported, Lively attended the FIFA World Cup finals with several non-famous girlfriends.
The Gossip Girl alum took a selfie with her gal pals during the important match, which ended with Spain defeating Argentina 1-0.
Lively’s group included Stoney Clover Lane founders Kendall and Libby Glaser and her longtime friend Emma Gray.
Her outing comes on the heels of Lively’s conspicuous absence from ex-best friend Taylor Swift’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City earlier this month.
Among the estimated 1,000 guests were Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Brady and Brad Pitt.
On the night of Swift and now-husband Travis Kelsey’s rehearsal dinner, Lively and Reynolds were photographed cheering on their daughter Betty as she competed in a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.
A week after their wedding, the longtime couple was spotted having lunch on the rooftop of a Mexican restaurant in Canada.
Lively and Reynolds were once very close to Swift before the actress’ lengthy legal battle with “It Ends with Us” director Justin Baldoni.
A source said last month that Swift didn’t invite Lively because of an argument over a public legal battle in which Lively was embroiled.
“There was no olive branch when it came to their friendship,” the source said. “And Taylor hasn’t given Blake a wedding invitation.”
A source previously told Page Six that the Grammy winner needed “space” from her former friend after her name became involved in the lawsuit between Lively and Baldoni.
“Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn,” a source said at the time.
“Taylor wants nothing to do with this entire ordeal,” they added. “She has always been a loyal friend of Blake’s and does not welcome being dragged into something like this at all.”
