Congratulations to Jenny “JWoww” Farley and her new husband Zach Carpinello!
The “Jersey Shore” star married the pro wrestler on Wednesday at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, after seven years of dating, People reported.
The new bride surprised her guests with a ceremony, inviting 50 of her friends and family to what appeared to be a special screening of her new film, Nanny Come.
Instead, guests were welcomed by the local mayor who officiated the wedding in a surprise reveal.
“We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration that would focus on the people most important to us,” Farley told the outlet.
“We weren’t interested in having the biggest wedding possible,” she continued. “We wanted to share unforgettable moments with our closest family and friends. The goal was not to create art, but to create memories.”
Farley, 41, continued, “Above all, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us. The surprise element, family focus, and intimate guest list all allowed us to create something personal and meaningful.”
To create a big surprise, the couple created movie-themed invitations and even laid out a red carpet in the event space.
“We spent months keeping this secret, creating invitations, planning movie-themed details, and building the surprise,” the newlyweds explained of what they called “a moment they’ll never forget.”
In keeping with the non-traditional theme, Carpinello, 31, walked down the aisle to “The Bond of a Name…James Bond.” This song, composed by David Arnold, was featured on “Casino Royale”.
Farley walked to her now husband to the tune of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful.” It was the same song that her best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi used for her first dance at her wedding to Gioni LaVar in 2014.
The move was a “tribute to a dear friend,” Farley explained.
The venue was romantically transformed with deep ruby reds, floral accents and rose gold, and the ceremony was lit by candlelight, which Farley revealed was inspired by Disney stories.
“The overall inspiration was a modern-day ‘Beauty and the Beast’ fairy tale with a dark romance twist,” she explained.
“The ruby became the thread that tied everything together,” she continues. “From my ruby ring and Zac’s new rose gold wedding ring featuring a ruby, to our color palette and gifts for our children, rubies represented love, family, and the next chapter of our story.”
Farley went public with her relationship with Carpinello in April 2019, just months after filing for divorce from ex-husband Roger Matthews.
Their divorce was finalized in August 2019. She has two children with her ex-husband, 11-year-old daughter Meilani and 10-year-old son Grayson, and both attended the ceremony along with a special memento from the wrestler.
Carpinero gave Meilani a ruby birthstone ring, and her brother received a soccer-themed gift.
“This wedding is not just about the two of us, it’s about our family,” the couple said. “We wanted a day to celebrate not only our love story, but the family we’ve built together over the past seven years.”
