Canadian children’s content production company Epic Storyworlds has signed a deal with French on-demand streaming platform TV5Monde+ for the hit Quebec children’s animated series Guiby the Super Baby.
The deal will bring the 30 x 7-foot series to more than 60 million screens in 160 French-speaking territories across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Pacific, West Asia, the United States and Latin America.
Based on the popular Quebec comic created by Samuel Parent and commissioned by Tele-Québec, the series is aimed at ages 6 to 9 and follows the adventures of a fearless child who confronts the monsters that haunt children in the dark of night.
said Steve Couture, President and Executive Producer of Epic Storyworlds. “We’re excited to bring Guiby to the world with our strong partners at TV5Monde+.” “Giby was born in Quebec, but the story of a courageous three-and-a-half-year-old who turns fear into superpowers will resonate with children around the world.
