Jelly Roll was hospitalized with a sinus infection just days before news broke that he had filed for divorce from Bunny Zoe.
The singer detailed her health concerns on June 11 on TikTok, showing herself accepting a bouquet of flowers from tourmate Post Malone.
“So I went to the hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina last night,” Jelly Roll explained. “Shout out to the entire hospital. They literally stood me up for the show.”
The 41-year-old said his “face was swollen” due to a sinus infection, but doctors put him on “high doses of steroids” and he is now on the mend.
However, Jelly Roll noted that he missed part of Malone’s June 9 show on his Big Ass Stadium Tour due to illness.
“This is the first night I’ve been on tour with Post that I haven’t been able to go out and sing ‘Losers,'” said Jelly Roll. “We were able to finish the show at the last minute.”
Jelly Roll showed off flowers from Malone, which he received along with a note that read, “Mofo, get well soon. I love you.”
“I love the Post,” Jelly Roll said. “I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the kindest person in the world, and that’s not a myth.”
Jelly Roll also called Malone “the most normal guy in the world” and added “I love you, Posty” at the end of the video.
The “Wild Ones” singer’s next show on her solo “The Little Us Shed Tour” takes place tonight in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Page Six confirmed earlier this week that Jelly Rolle (real name Jason Bradley Deford) filed for divorce from Bunny, 46, on May 18th after nearly 10 years of marriage.
In court documents, the Grammy winner listed the duo’s separation date as May 9.
Regarding the reason for the cancellation, he cited “irreconcilable differences.”
A source told Page Six that the couple had been dealing with “growing tensions” behind the scenes due to their differing lifestyles, with Jelly Roll’s religious beliefs and Bunny’s racy past clashing.
“A lot of people want to point out one thing, but it was actually a combination of problems that had been building up over the years,” the insider claimed.
In addition, major life changes, including Jelly Roll’s booming career and dramatic weight loss, reportedly added to the strain on the couple.
Jelly Roll and Bunny Zoe (real name Alisa Andrea Carter) secretly married in a Las Vegas courthouse in August 2016.
Two years later, Jelly Roll had an affair, but they overcame the cheating scandal and renewed their vows in 2023.
During their marriage, Bunny Zoe served as stepmother to Jelly Roll’s two children from previous relationships, daughter Bailey Ann (18) and son Noah Buddy (9).
