Actor Fahadh Faasil has been roped in to star in two Malayalam feature films produced by Panorama Studios in association with Jacob K. Babu of Maxlove Cinemas & Entertainment.
Both projects are in development and are aiming for theatrical release in 2027, but a director and broader creative team have not yet been revealed. Details of the title and plot have not been disclosed at this time.
Jacob Babu, who is involved in production, distribution and exhibition in the Malayalam film industry, is producing the film in collaboration with Panorama’s Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. The title, story, and budget were not disclosed in the announcement.

Panorama Studios has been active in the Malayalam market with projects like ‘Anomie’, ‘Tikitaka’, ‘Unmadham’ and a collaboration with actor-producer Nivin Pauly. The Mumbai-based studio’s extensive oeuvre includes the ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Raid’ franchises, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ and ‘Shaitaan’.

Faasil has built one of the more diverse filmography of modern Indian cinema, spanning works in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. His credits include ‘Mahesinte Prathikaaram’, ‘Kumbalangi Nights’, ‘Joji’, ‘Malik’ and ‘Aavesham’, besides his role in the blockbuster ‘Pushpa’ series.
