Nicholas Brendon’s purported handwritten will has been revealed just three months after his death at the age of 54.
According to court documents filed Monday and obtained by TMZ, the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star’s twin brother, Kelton Schultz, wants his will reviewed by probate court.
“My will. Sarah gets nothing, but Kel gets everything. He can understand that,” the handwritten will read.
The message refers to his twin and ex-girlfriend Sarah Marker.
Brendon’s parents, Robert and Kathleen Schultz, were also named in the document.
The filing did not mention the actor’s assets.
On May 25, Kelton filed a petition to represent his late brother’s estate at the request of the “Coherence” star.
A public hearing will be held on July 16th.

Brendon’s family announced his death in a statement on Instagram on March 20th.
“We are saddened by the passing of our brother and son Nicholas Brendon, who passed away in his sleep from natural causes,” they wrote, adding, “Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and the characters he brought to life over the years.”
The statement said Brendon was “passionate, sensitive and relentlessly driven to create.”
The family said Brendon was “undergoing medication and treatment to cope with his diagnosis and was optimistic about his future at the time of his death,” referring to the 90s star’s troubled past.
In 2022, Brendon revealed that he suffered a heart attack and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.
He also underwent multiple spinal surgeries after being diagnosed with cauda equina syndrome.
Brendon’s cause of death was determined to be atherosclerotic hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
Acute pneumonia and previous myocardial infarction (heart attack) were cited as contributing factors.
Brendon was embroiled in legal trouble at the time of his death over allegations of mistreatment of construction workers he employed.
In 2021, the actor was charged with controlled substance prescription fraud and refusing to provide identification after being stopped for a driving violation. He received a one-year suspended sentence.
After Brendon’s death, his “Buffy” co-stars quickly took to social media to share their devastation.
Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg on the show, captioned the photo: “My sweet Nicki, thank you for all the years of laughter, love, and Dodgers.” “Every time I look at the rocking chair, I think of you. I love you. Rest in peace.”
Brendon starred in all seven seasons of the Vampire series from 1997 to 2003, alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anthony Head, Charisma Carpenter, David Boreanaz, Seth Green, and Hannigan.
Earlier this month, Mr. Head passed away suddenly at the age of 72.
A statement from his daughters Emily and Daisy Head said the British star passed away “peacefully due to complications from pneumonia.”
