Andy Reid is ready for it.
The Kansas City Chiefs coach is fitting Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their wedding, having local shop Peter’s Clothiers make a tuxedo for their big day.
The company posted a photo of Big Red being tried on on Instagram with the caption, “Andy Reid, Brett Veach and Rick Burkholder of the KC Chiefs are preparing for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding!”
One of the two images shared shows Reid standing in his red-carpeted office while the company’s owner, Spiro Alvanitaktis, kneels next to him making adjustments.
In the second photo, Burkholder is standing in the same position, and he also looks great in a stylish tuxedo.
The company first shared on May 23 that it was creating a bespoke look for Reed, so it appears this will be the final fitting.
Reed recently joked on “The Stephen A. Smith Show” about his upcoming wedding, “Well, listen, I’m getting older and eating a little less cheeseburger so I can wear it in a tuxedo.”
He continued, “So there’s definitely a chance I’ll go there too. You know, like you, she’s a Pennsylvania girl, so I met her before Trav did, and I’m glad they’re in love.”
He echoed his pertinent sentiments on the radio show “The Fan” in early May, joking, “If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo size by then, I’m going to quit.”
Page Six reported that Swift and Kelsea will wed on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, surrounded by nearly 1,000 of their loved ones.
“When the time comes, it doesn’t matter how big the shows around you are,” Reed said in May. “They love each other, that’s the most important thing.”
