Corey Feldman was hospitalized after suffering an emergency on a plane.
The “Goonies” star was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon after his flight from Chicago to Los Angeles landed at Los Angeles International Airport, TMZ reported.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed to the report that they were dispatched to the airport to assist a 54-year-old man who was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Page Six reached out to a representative for Mr. Feldman, but did not immediately receive a response.
A source close to Feldman told TMZ that the ’80s teen star felt unwell on the flight and sought medical attention from a fellow passenger, who is a doctor.
The outlet said it was told that doctors believe Mr Feldman may have pancreatitis, inflammation of the pancreas or gallstones.
According to the Mayo Clinic, pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas, while gallstones are hardened digestive fluids (or bile) that build up in the gallbladder and can cause sudden, severe pain if they become blocked.
Feldman was in Chicago to attend the anniversary celebration of the movie “Stand by Me.”
He, along with co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton, attended “Stand by Me: The Movies and Their Stars 40 Years Later” at the Chicago Theater on Sunday night.
Co-star River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween 1993 at just 23 years old.
Late Sunday night, Feldman shared photos and videos on Instagram of his stop at Michael Jackson’s childhood home in Gary, Indiana, and the event itself at the merry-go-round while driving to Chicago for the event.
He noted that the impromptu visit to Jackson’s home happened to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the King of Pop’s death, and said it was to “pay homage” to the late singer.
Jackson passed away at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, from a heart attack caused by a drug overdose.
“We’re heading to Chicago to tear it up,” Feldman, who competed on “Dancing with the Stars” last fall and was eliminated the first time, said in the video. “It’s going to be a great night. Lots of people are coming, thousands of people are coming.”
At the end of the video, he told his followers, “God bless you,” and spread “peace and love.”
In the caption of the post, Feldman teased that while “sadly” this is the last weekend of shows on the “Stand by Me” anniversary tour, “we’re hearing rumors with two incredible turnouts and more D8S (dates) may be added in the coming months.”
Earlier this year, Feldman expressed disappointment at being left out of the Rob Reiner tribute show at the 2026 Academy Awards, saying being left out of the special segment was “like a family reunion I wasn’t invited to.”
Although he was scorned, his Stand By Me co-stars O’Connell and Wheaton attended to pay tribute to the director and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner, who was found murdered in their Los Angeles home in December 2025.
“I think Jerry and Will did what they had to do,” Feldman said of the memorial. “I don’t feel like I lost much.”
