In 2019, Brody and Chapman met at a dinner to celebrate Helena Christensen’s swimwear collection in Puerto Rico.
February 2020
People confirmed that Brody and Chapman were dating. A film industry source told the publication that the couple had been romantically involved for “a while” and shared “many of the same interests.”
June 2021
The couple made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Brody’s crime thriller Clean. Chapman wore a floral embroidered blue and gold top paired with a sheer black lace skirt, while Brody opted for a monochromatic maroon look.
September 2021
Brody and Chapman attended the Met Gala together for the first time. The actor wore a black Dior tuxedo, while Chapman wore an intricately beaded dress with silver fringe detailing and a fitted silhouette.
July 2021
The two were photographed kissing at the premiere of The French Dispatch at the Cannes Film Festival. Brody appeared in a sophisticated all-black look. Chapman complemented her look in a form-fitting black dress adorned with white floral appliqués.
October 2022
The couple was photographed on a date night at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. Brody was dressed casually in black, while Chapman wore a green suit with floral details.
May 2022
Brody and Chapman attended the Met Gala together again. Brody opted for a black and white tuxedo. Chapman opted for a dramatic off-the-shoulder burgundy dress. The tiered skirt of her dress cascaded like a flowing train.
July 2023
Brody and Chapman were photographed enjoying ice cream together while on vacation in Saint-Tropez, France. The couple kept it casual yet stylish, with Brody wearing a plain white T-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers. Chapman wore a magenta maxi dress.
May 2024
This will be the third time the couple will attend the Met Gala together. Brody arrived in a black double-breasted tuxedo with a silver bird brooch. She also made her debut as a blonde. Chapman wore an ombré Marchesa dress.
September 2024
Chapman attended the premiere of The Brutalist at the Venice Film Festival with Brody. Brody looked sophisticated in a black tuxedo and a statement silver brooch. Chapman wore a flowing periwinkle blue dress with intricate beadwork.
January 2025
Chapman accompanied Brody to the Golden Globe Awards on January 5th, where he won Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture or Drama for his role in The Brutalist.
Brody thanked Chapman in his acceptance speech, saying, “To my beautiful and wonderful partner, Georgina. Your generous spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity, remind me every day of who I am meant to be. Without you, I wouldn’t be standing here in front of you. There was a time not too long ago when I felt like this might be a moment I’d never have again. So thank you.”
On January 21st, the couple attended Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2025 Men’s Show during Paris Fashion Week wearing matching black outfits.
February 2025
At the Critics’ Choice Awards on February 7, Brody once again thanked Chapman in his speech for winning Best Actor for The Brutalist. “I would like to thank everyone on the crew and our amazing cast for their incredible contributions. I couldn’t be here without you. Thank you to my team for supporting and guiding me, to A24 for believing in this film, and of course to my beautiful girlfriend Georgina and my parents. I wouldn’t be here without you. God bless you all, I love you. Thank you.”
The couple also attended the BAFTAs together on February 16, where Brody wore a custom J.Crew tuxedo. Chapman wore a strapless, sculptural Marchesa dress. Brody, who won the Best Actor award, called Chapman an “angel” in his acceptance speech from Pamela Anderson.
“Thank you to my beautiful British girlfriend, the angelic Georgina Chapman. And if it wasn’t for you and my amazing parents, I wouldn’t be so lucky to be standing here in front of you,” Brody said.
On February 23rd, the couple wore black outfits to the SAG Awards. The two posed together on the red carpet, with Chapman wearing a tiered sleeveless gown and Brody wearing a custom Louis Vuitton tuxedo.
March 2025
On March 2, Brody selected Chapman as his date to Oscar. He won the Best Actor award and gave a speech to cheer her on. He said, “I share this with my amazing partner Georgina, who has uplifted not only my own self-esteem, but my values and values, and her beautiful children, Dash and India. I know it’s been a roller coaster, but thank you for letting me into your lives, and Popsy will come back a winner.”
June 2026
Brody, who attended the Tony Awards on June 7, spoke about his relationship with Chapman in an interview with E!
“She’s very generous,” he said. “That’s the norm at the moment. We both understand our busy lives, but she’s incredibly generous in spirit.”
Brody also described Chapman as “my partner in crime.”
“You need to find someone who has those qualities, who actually has a generous spirit, who accepts you and allows you and your work, your profession, to be immersed in it,” he continued.
He concluded that “it requires a certain type.”
