On Saturday, June 6, pop star Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner celebrated their union with a large ceremony and reception in Palermo, Sicily, which Vanity Fair reported cost $1.73 million. The event followed a civic ceremony in London the weekend before.

On Saturday, guests were welcomed to a private cocktail party and tour of the Palermo Museum of Contemporary Art (GAM). After the ceremony, they attended a reception at the Ganzi Palace, followed by a late night party in Piazza Croce dei Vespri. But the main event took place at Villa Valguarnera, a historic mansion also known as the “Little Versailles.”
Most of the guests and the newlyweds stayed at the Grand Hotel Villa Igiea.
What did Dua Lipa wear to her wedding?
For the London ceremony, Ripa wore a custom Schiaparelli haute couture outfit reminiscent of Bianca Jagger’s 1971 bridal look. To welcome guests on June 5, she wore a white sleeveless Bottega Veneta dress with a dramatic skirt and feathers.
Who attended Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s wedding in Sicily?
A number of celebrity guests were in attendance, including Troye Sivan, Charli XCX and her husband, George Daniel, Joe Alwyn, Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson. Elton John was also reportedly in attendance, along with his husband David Furnish, and sang a song for the couple at the reception. John chose the famous “Your Song” track with piano accompaniment.
What was provided at the reception?
There was early catering from Osteria dei Vespri, followed by a wedding reception set by chef Tony Lo Coco. According to Vanity Fair, guests were served traditional Sicilian dishes such as aneretti alla norma, panelle and croquettes, as well as desserts such as cassato and cannoli.
