The highly anticipated Netflix MMA card, headlined by Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey, drew an estimated audience of approximately 12 million viewers.
The Netflix/Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) card garnered an average audience audience (AMA) of 12.4 million Live+1 viewers worldwide, according to VideoAmp, G&G Closed Circuit Events and Netflix data. Viewership peaked, with approximately 17 million people watching the Rousey vs. Carano fight.
Rousey and Carano, pioneers of women’s MMA, are back after a long time away from the ring. Rousey last competed in 2016 and then entered the fight against Carano, who left the fight as an actress in 2009.
In addition to Rousey vs. Carano (Rousey defeated Carano with an armbar in just 17 seconds), the event also saw “The King of Violence” Mike Perry defeat Nate Diaz by TKO and Francis Ngannou KO Phillip Lince in the first round. In the United States, those three matches alone averaged 9.3 million viewers, with Rousey vs. Carano peaking at 11.6 million viewers.
The latest installment in Netflix’s live sports ambitions, the event didn’t perform all that well in terms of viewership compared to other Netflix offerings. For example, Jake Paul’s devastating knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2025 attracted 33 million AMA viewers. Similarly, Terrence Crawford’s September 2025 victory over Saul “Canelo” Alvarez averaged 36.6 million viewers. The undisputed champion remains Paul vs. Mike Tyson, with an estimated 108 million AMA viewers in 2024.
Rousey vs. Carano is produced by MVP and EverWonder.
