Tony Awards season has begun.
Nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards, which celebrates the best of Broadway, were announced Tuesday by former nominee Uzo Aduba and former winner Darren Criss.
According to Deadline, 30 Broadway productions will be nominated for Tony Awards this year, compared to 42 last year.
At the 2025 Tonys, “Maybe Happy Ending” and “Purpose” won Best Musical and Best Play, respectively.
Other winners last year included Chris for “Maybe Happy Ending,” Sarah Snook for “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” Nicole Scherzinger for “Sunset Boulevard” and Cole Escola for “Oh Mary.”
Pink will host the 2026 Tonys, which will be broadcast on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 7th at 8pm ET and streamed on Paramount+.
