Sarah Jane Ramos’ potential bridesmaid for her canceled wedding to Dak Prescott is speaking out after she was spotted getting cozy with the NFL star.
“I think this is an opportunity for everyone to know that I’m single,” Kaitlyn Lance, a friend of the former couple, said over drinks on her Instagram Story.
“I have a very active Raya profile,” she continued. “And we’re just here to have a good time.” Lance then clinked glasses with a friend nearby, both smiling.
After TMZ first reported the news, Page Six confirmed on Friday that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback attended a Pro Bull Riders event in Fort Worth, Texas, with Lance.
Witnesses said they were accompanied by friends, including a Cowboys player, but they held hands and acted like a couple.
The group is said to have headed to a nearby concert after the event, and the two are said to have returned together afterwards.
While having brunch together the next day, the two denied they were the problem. Page Six asked Lance for comment before handing the phone to Prescott.
Prescott, 32, and Lance, 35, have been friends since attending Mississippi State University together.
Lance, a former NCAA Division I volleyball player at MSU, was scheduled to be a bridesmaid at Prescott’s planned wedding to Ramos. There is no indication that Prescott and Lance were romantically involved before breaking up with Ramos.
The athlete took part in a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip to the Bahamas in March, where Ramos discovered the soccer player’s alleged infidelity and canceled their planned wedding in Lake Como, Italy, weeks before the ceremony, scheduled for April 10.
Ramos, 32, learned that Prescott had allegedly been sending inappropriate messages to his ex-girlfriend and other women on secret social media profiles.
A source said at the time that they believed Prescott was communicating with other women, but that Ramos was staying with Prescott for her family and gave her an ultimatum in January.
According to TMZ, the former couple sent an email to friends and family informing them of their decision to cancel the wedding.
“We would like to privately inform everyone in attendance that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” the statement said. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused and welcome everyone’s prayers.”
Prescott and Ramos, who share daughters Margaret Jane, 2, and Aurora Lane, 11 months, reached an informal temporary custody agreement for their daughters in April.
