The King of Pop is back.

“Michael” is back at the top of the box office after a moonwalking lull last week.

The Michael Jackson biopic became the fourth movie to debut in theaters at No. 1 on Friday, grossing $7 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

According to NPR, the film, which the Post described as “painfully bad,” put Jackson’s music back on the Billboard charts.

Her 1982 album “Thriller” returned to No. 7 on the Billboard 200, and her 1983 hit “Billie Jean” returned to No. 38 on the Hot 100 Singles chart.

In second place was “Obsession,” which opened with $6.89 million on Friday.

According to Yahoo, the horror movie is a “perfect blend of scares, jump scares, and dark comedy” and revolves around a man who wishes his toy to make his lifelong female friend fall in love with him.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 dropped a notch to third place with $5.3 million in its third Friday of release.

The sequel to the 2006 comedy cost a reported $100 million to make and has already grossed more than $450 million worldwide.

According to Forbes, Warner Bros. had already given the green light to Mortal Kombat III months before the fantasy sequel premiered.

In fifth place was the mystery comedy “The Sheep Detectives,” starring Hugh Jackman, which grossed just over $2.4 million.
