Britney Spears was spotted shopping at a liquor store with friends before causing a ruckus at a restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Surveillance footage obtained by the Daily Mail on Thursday showed the Grammy winner jumping out of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and heading to Wines of the World in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks neighborhood.
Spears seemed in good spirits as she walked around the store and headed to the refrigerator section with a friend.
The “Gimme More” singer’s friend grabbed a can of soda and headed to the front of the store to pay.
Meanwhile, Spears, 44, wandered around the store aimlessly.
The pop star then met a friend at the cashier’s counter and dumped a pack of gum on the counter before paying.
A representative for Spears did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.
The “Toxic” songstress went to the Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks with two friends before “raising their voices, screaming and at times even barking,” TMZ reported.
Customers at the restaurant claimed Spears walked around with a knife and lit a cigarette inside the restaurant.
However, a representative for Spears said the incident was “completely out of proportion” and told Page Six that “Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard.”
“She simply said her dog was barking at her neighbours,” the spokesperson continued.
A representative for Spears also denied that she “endangered anyone with the knife” and claimed she used the knife to cut the burger.
The “Circus” singer’s outing with friends came after he completed a rehab stay last month.
Spears had been undergoing treatment after being arrested for drunk driving in March.
Earlier this month, Spears’ attorney appeared in court on her behalf and pleaded guilty in a DUI case.
At the hearing, the attorney accepted a lesser “reckless” charge, which is common in cases of reckless driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, where a first-time offender has a low blood-alcohol level and no crash or injury.
The presiding judge in Spears’ case sentenced the pop star to a year of informal probation and ordered him to complete three months of alcohol school.
