Two weeks before Off Campus premieres on Prime Video, the college romance series announced two new cast additions to Season 2.
India Fowler (Fear Street: Prom Queen) will be a series regular as Grace Ivers, the girlfriend of John Logan, played by Antonio Cipriano. The show’s official Instagram posted a snippet in which Cipriano broke the news to Fowler and invited her to join the “off-campus” cast and crew in Vancouver.
“Hamilton” star Phillipa Soo will also join the cast as Scarlett, a theater artist who guest-directs an original play for her university’s theater department.
The show’s official description reads, “Follows an elite ice hockey team and its women as they navigate life as they grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery, navigating the complexities of transitioning to adulthood, and forging deep friendships and lasting bonds.”
Based on Elle Kennedy’s best-selling book, Season 1 follows the romance between Hannah (Ella Bright), a quiet songwriter, and Garrett (Belmont Cameli), an all-star hockey player at Brier College. The show’s first season also features the rest of Garrett and Logan’s hockey quartet, John Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) and Dean DiLaurentis (Steven Cullin), as well as Hannah’s best friend and Dean’s girlfriend Allie (Mika Abdallah).
Off Campus has not confirmed that Logan and Grace will be the focus of Season 2, but the couple’s novel will be the second in the series, following John Tucker and Dean.
Creator Luisa Levy will co-showrun and executive produce Off Campus with Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seedman will serve as executive producers for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings and Neil Flaherty of Billings Productions will also serve as executive producers.
“Off Campus” Season 1 will premiere on Prime Video on May 13th.
