Spoiler Alert: Details for “The Masked Singer” Season 14 Episode 12 “Finals”, which aired on March 25th on FOX, are below.
The stars aligned for Ashlee Simpson, who was unmasked as Galaxy Girl in the season 14 finale of Fox’s The Masked Singer and won the golden “Masked” trophy for this season’s champion. Wednesday’s episode also revealed Philip Phillips as Pugcasso, Kylie Cantrall as the Cat Witch, and Normani as Crane.
Simpson won it all following two finale numbers: “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo and “Try” by Pink. Among the panelists, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong all answered correctly about Ashlee Simpson. Especially after her sister Jessica Simpson took to the stage before the final prediction.
“I was so happy that my sister came that day and supported me,” Simpson told Variety. “It was so much fun doing the show. For me, having the freedom of performing with a mask on, I discovered the love of performing again and the joy it brought me. This makes me want to keep moving forward. I’m happy to receive the love from the audience and get back on stage.”
Phillips finished in second place with Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” and Phil Collins’ “Susdio.” McCarthy Wahlberg did the right thing with Phillips. I thought it was Kris Allen. Mr. Schick said he nominated Justin Guarini, and Mr. Chong said he nominated Beau Bice.
In third place was Cantrall, who had already been revealed to viewers throughout the season and was finally revealed to the panelists as the Cat Witch. Lastly, they sang JoJo’s “Leave (Get Out)” and Tate McRae’s “Greedy.”
Ora agreed with her Descendants co-star Cantrall, and McCarthy-Wahlberg agreed. Chung went with Ashley Tisdale, Thicke told Victoria Justice.
The first identity reveal of the night was Crane, who sang Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” earlier in the evening. As for Crane, Ora had a good discussion with Normani, and McCarthy Wahlberg and Thicke agreed. Chung thought it was Kelly Rowland.

Season 14 will see McCarthy Wahlberg, Chung, Ora, and Thicke return as panelists.
New this season is “America’s Insider,” where singer, dancer and social media personality Kylie Cantrall shares behind-the-scenes hints and tips with viewers. Twist: Cantrall wore a cat witch costume, but was only unmasked for viewers. So the audience knew who she was, but the panelists didn’t.
“The Masked Singer” Season 14-themed episodes included homages to “Star Trek,” the ’90s comedy “Clueless,” comic book series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the blockbuster movie “The Twilight Saga.” Fox’s new “Fear Factor” reboot also featured “Fear Factor: House of Fear Night” host Johnny Knoxville, a tribute to the late rocker Ozzy Osbourne on “Ozzfest Night,” and a special tribute from “The Masked Singer” alum Kelly Osbourne (Season 2’s Ladybug) paying homage to her father’s musical influence.
Season 14’s 18 masked contestants included Eggplant, Pugcasso, Queen Corgi, Croissant, Owl, 14 Carat Carrot, Snow Cone, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Gyoggly Eyes, Scarab, Handyman, Crane, Le Fou, Pangolin, Stingray, Cat Witch, and Calla Lily.
According to the show, the season 14 contestants have sold a total of 94 million records, earned 47 Teen Choice Award nominations, 12 Emmy nominations, two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one Tony Award win, and one Academy Award nomination.
