Shannen Doherty’s estate has finally reached a settlement with ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko, nearly two years after the actress’ death.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the photographer agreed to give the former “Charmed” actress a “one-half interest” in a shared property in Dripping Springs, Texas.
The filing also states that Mr. Iswarienko, 51, agreed to return Mr. Doherty’s sofa and coffee table from the mansion, “to catalog his photographic work” depicting the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum, and to wire $25,000 to Mr. Doherty’s estate for his interest in the Mooney M-20 plane.
Meanwhile, Doherty’s estate must return belongings such as Iswarienko’s guitar and Garrard’s stereo record player.
In January, Page Six reported that Iswariyenko was trying to block a court ruling to replace the trustee in his ex-wife’s trust.
Iswarienko cited Doherty’s death in 2024 and their divorce as reasons why the court “lacks jurisdiction” in the matter, according to documents obtained by Page Six at the time.
He also argued that former estate trustee Christopher Cortazzo failed to adequately demonstrate that he was authorized by the trust to file the claim in court in the first place.
Two months ago, Cortazzo filed papers seeking to become an heir to the “Heathers” actress’ estate in an effort to advance the judgment between her and Iswarienko.
Cortazzo accused Doherty’s ex-husband of not honoring their 2024 divorce agreement in which they agreed to list their $1.5 million shared home in Dripping Springs.
Doherty’s estate also alleged that Iswarienko failed to return Doherty’s assets and withheld more than $50,000 he allegedly owed her.
The “Mall Rats” actress passed away at her home in Malibu, Calif., in July 2024 after a nine-year battle with breast cancer that eventually spread to her brain and bones. She was 53 years old.
Sources told Page Six that Hollywood lawyer Laura Wasser was working tirelessly to ensure that Doherty’s divorce from Iswarienko was filed and finalized in the week before her death.
The ex-lovers agreed to a divorce just hours before Doherty’s death.
