If everything goes her way, Mel B will be joining the Spice Girls on tour soon.
“In a perfect world, we would already be on tour by now, touring all over the world,” Scary Spice exclusively told Page Six at the Revive Collagen event in Los Angeles. This comes days after new reports emerged that the group’s 30th anniversary reunion has been cancelled.
“I’m always the one who says, ‘Yeah, I’m going on tour,'” she added. “I want to go on tour. I want to do music, but that’s not happening.”
The 50-year-old singer went on to say that she had been “ready” to tour with the group since forming the band in 1994, when she was 19, with the girl group Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice).
“I’m always ready to go on tour with the Spice Girls,” she exclaimed. “If it weren’t for the other four girls, if they weren’t part of that crazy roller coaster of girl power, I wouldn’t be sitting here.”
Mel B has expressed a desire to reunite with the Spice Girls following rumors of a reunion tour to commemorate the release of their 1996 debut single ‘Wannabe’.
However, US Sun reported last week that the girl group “could not reach an agreement.”
“July marks the 30th anniversary of the release of ‘Wannabe,’ and later that year we’re releasing our first album, ‘Spice.’ So, yeah, it’s a big album. And, no, there’s no reunion,” Melanie C. explained on “The Smallsy Show” at the time.
“We’re in constant communication. We want to do something. Who knows when? But I still feel very optimistic. I believe that at some point in the future we’ll see the Spice Girls together.”
The Spice Girls officially disbanded in 2000, but reunited more than a decade later for the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
The group then toured briefly in 2019 without Beckham, but reunited privately for a casual performance at the fashion designer’s 50th birthday party in April 2024.
Page Six spoke to Mel B, who is promoting a collaboration with Revive Collagen, a supplement company aimed at helping people improve their skin, hair, and nails, with a focus on perimenopausal and menopausal products.
The singer, who is an ambassador for a beauty brand, spoke about what she uses to combat her symptoms. She said she drinks Peri Menopause and Menopause Max in her morning coffee, and Menopause Max Beauty Mix in the evening.
“The hair on my back has started to grow,” said Mel B. “I don’t feel as anxious or crazy. I feel like I have more energy. My sleep patterns have improved.”
Additionally, she shared that the product also helps symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), night sweats, and past brain fog.
Collagen products are especially helpful for Mel B when she’s traveling, like she is now. She told Page Six that she is currently on the road for six weeks, working as a judge on season 21 of America’s Got Talent.
She relies on Revive to keep her health routine balanced while away from home, complete with ice bath and infrared sauna.
What are her other secrets to looking great even at 50? Mel B vows to get at least 10 minutes of sunlight a day and doesn’t put too much pressure on herself to break a sweat.
